  1. Server-Logfiles

The web server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server logfiles, which your browser automatically transmits to the web server when visiting the website. This is:

Personal data is processed when you visit this website. Processed data categories: technical connection data of the server access (IP address, date, time, requested page, browser information)data about the use of the website and the logging of clicks on individual elements. Purpose of processing: Anonymization and creation of statistics, analysis of user behavior and content optimization. The legal basis for processing: Your consent according to Art. 6 (1) a GDPR. Data is transmitted: to the data controller Google LLC, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The legal basis for the data transfer to Google LLC is Your consent according to Art. 6 (1) a GDPR. This may also mean a transfer of personal data to a country outside the European Union. The data is transferred to the USA on the basis of Art. 45 GDPR in conjunction with the European Commission's adequacy decision C(2023) 4745, since the data recipient has committed to comply with the data processing principles of the Data Privacy Framework (DPF). 

 

Contact form

You can contact us by using a contact form provided on our website. After submission of the contact form, the controller will process the personal data you have provided for the purpose of handling your request on the basis of your consent which you have given by submitting the form according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, until revocation.You have no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. If you do not provide such data, you are simply not able to submit and we are not able to process your request.

 

Applicant Data

We collect and process applicant data that you provide to us as part of job postings or unsolicited applications. This typically includes standard information such as first and last name, address, qualification data (cover letter, resume, previous work experience, professional qualifications), as well as certificates and references (performance data, assessment data, etc.). Additionally, information regarding disability status, background, or application photos may be processed if you voluntarily provide them to us. 

We use the data during the application process and delete it 6 months after the conclusion of the application process in case of rejection. If your application is of interest for a future position, we will contact you and obtain your consent. 

Your data will only be shared with service providers acting as data processors. Contracts with these data processors comply with the requirements of Article 28 of the GDPR. 

The legal basis for data processing is Section 26(1) of the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act) and/or Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 26(2) BDSG.

 

 


Recipients of Personal Data 

Your personal data is generally not transferred to third parties. We only share your personal data with third parties if: 

• You have given your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, 

• The disclosure is necessary under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data, 

• There is a legal obligation for the disclosure under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, or 

• The disclosure is legally permissible and necessary under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for the execution of contractual relationships with you. 

 

We use data processors for the maintenance of our website, meaning data is also transmitted to them. Contracts with these data processors meet the requirements of Article 28 GDPR. The following companies are recipients of your data:

You have the right:

  • pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR to request information about your personal data processed by us. You can in particular request information about the processing purposes, the category of the personal data, the categories of recipients, towards whom your data was or will be disclosed, the planned storage duration, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, limitation of the processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, if this was not collected in our company, as well as about the existence of an automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, feasible information regarding their details;
  • pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR without delay to request the rectification of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by our company;
  • pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR to request erasure of your personal data stored by our company, insofar as the processing is not necessary to exercise the right to free expression of an opinion and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercising or defence of legal claims;
  • pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, you however refuse their erasure and we no longer require the data, you however require these for the assertion, exercising or defence of legal claims or pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR you have filed an objection against the processing;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another data controller;
  • pursuant to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR to revoke your once granted consent at all times towards us. This will have the consequence that we may no longer continue the data processing, which was based on this consent, in the future;
  • pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint at a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can for this purpose contact the supervisory authority of your customary place of abode or place of work or our registered seat and
  • pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR to file an objection against the processing of your personal data, insofar as reasons exist for this purpose, which arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case you have a general right to object, which is implemented by us without stating a particular situation.
